hallo
ich brauche hilfe
ich möchte bei myspace eine scrollbar haben
ich hab auch schon alles ausprobiert aber nix geht
als ich dann das layout entfernt habe ging es
also würde es wohl wahrscheinlich an dem layout liegen
kann mir vielleicht jemand nähere informationen geben?

Ziemlich wirres Stück Quältext...
Sich da durchzuarbeiten, wäre eine Zumutung.
Mir fällt (abgesehen von den teils doch fragwürdigen CSS-Sachen) auf, das das div comments keine beginnende spitze Klammer besitzt.

auf die eine klammer kommt es nicht an
vielleicht sollte ich nochmal erwähnen dass ich eine scrollbar im helden abschnitt haben möchte. ich will da halt bilder und text reinmachen. bei einigen codes hat man nur das erste bild gesehen, da war nix mit scrollen und bei anderen codes konnte man zwar scrollen aber da war nicht dieser scrollbalken an der seite.

Ich verstehe nur "Bahnhof"!
Ohne Beispiellink würde die Behebung Deines Problems in schiere Raterei ausarten...

Eeeeck, Falsch.
HTML ist keine selbstkorrigierende Sprache. Natürlich kommt es auf jede Klammer an,
ebenso wie jedes andere Steuerzeichen. Wenn es dir so egal ist, ob da eine Klammer
steht oder nicht, warum fragst du dann überhaupt in einem Fachforum?
Abgesehen davon ist das Schnipsel Quelltext in deinem ersten Posting ein Haufen
Quirks-Quarks. Ein Wunder, dass eine HTML-Seite mit sowas tatsächlich noch von
Browsern interpretiert wird. Diese Energie der Fehlerkorrektur hätten die
Browserentwickler besser in mehr Integration von Webstandards verwendet.
So gehört z.B. ein <style>-Element nicht planlos irgendwo in die Wildei, sondern
ausschliesslich zwischen <head> und </head>. Und was zum Henker ist das da:

table table table table div input, div a, td.text div {...} |
Da fragt man sich schon, was du mit sovielen verschachtelten Tabellen anstellen willst.
Gesetzt den Fall, du benötigst diesen Tabellen-Wirrwarr tatsächlich, dann weise der
innersten <table> eine ID oder Klasse zu, und schon verschwindet im CSS der ganze
"table table table table ...-"Kram.
Und was genau hast du dir damit vorgestellt:

Soll das ein Javascript werden? Dann fehlt da eindeutig <script>. Weil, in CSS sind
mit solche Abfragen etwas fremd...
Mit der Angabe "background-color:222244" meinst du dann sicher auch
"background-color: #222244", nehme ich an, so wie bei jeder anderen Zuweisung
von Hintergrundfarben.
Zu guter Letzt ist mir nicht abschliessend klar, was die am Ende deines Quelltextes
verschachtelten visibility-Zuweisungen darstellen. Eine äussere Tabelle soll dabei
offenbar ausgeblendet, eine innere angezeigt werden. Das ergibt (fast) keinen Sinn.
Und zum Thema Scrollbars ist in deinem Quelltext nichts zu finden. Scrollbars werden
mit der Anweisung overflow gesteuert, und die taucht da nirgends auf...

mir ist egal was da fürn zeug steht mein profil sieht so aus wie es aussehen soll und das ist die hauptsache für mich.
außerdem hat das nichts mit meiner eigentlichen frage zu tun.

Ich nehme an, du hast anfangs nicht die gesamte HTML-Datei gepostet. In dem
geposteten Quelltext ist nichts über Scrollbars zu finden. Könnte mir es wenn dann nur
so erklären, dass die Browser durch die ganzen verschachtelten visibilitys irrgeführt
werden und dann halt wahlweise Scrollbars anzeigen oder eben nicht.
Ich verweise dann einfach auf...

also.. vielleicht sollte ich mein problem nochmal schildern..
in dem code sind gar keine scrollbars.
das ist ja das problem. ich möchte gerne auf meinem MYSPACE profil in dem Helden abschnitt eine scrollbar, wo ich bilder und text drin haben möchte

so wie auf dem profil.
aber das geht irgendwie nicht.
bei einigen codes sieht man nur das erste bild und man kann GAR NICHT scrollen
bei anderen codes kann man zwar scrollen aber man sieht an der seine keinen scrollbalken.
soweit alles klar?
und als ich den code vom layout entfernt habe dann ging es, dann war da auch ein scrollbalken.
ich hab auch versucht immer nur einzelne teile vom layout zu entfernen.
aber es ging nur als da KEIN einziger anderer code drin war.
also kann es ja nur am layout code liegen oder?
wäre da vielleicht irgendwo eine freundliche seele die mir dabei helfen könnte?

Da liegt das Problem. "overflow-x" ist CSS Version 3, die jedoch noch nicht den Status
eines Webstandards hat und bislang nur von wenigen Browsern interpretiert wird.
Schon die Implementierung der Scrollbars an und für sich ist bisweilen von Browser
zu Browser verschieden. Wenn das Browser z.B. das <td> exakt 175px breit rendert,
dann verringert sich die Grösse des maximal anzeigbaren Bereichs um die Breite der
Scollbar, was wiederum zur Anzeige einer x-Scrollbars führt sobald nicht zu

und auch in allen Browsern implementiert ist, kanns jedoch dauern.

ich kann mich von meinem pc zu hause aus nicht mehr die myspace seite laden. ich wüsst nich woran es liegen könnte ob an meinem pc oder an mozilla oder an meinem internetanbieter oder eben an myspace selbst.
folgendes fenster öffnet sich, egal über welchen weg ich versuche myspace zu laden:
Netzwerk-Zeitüberschreitung
Der Server unter www.myspace.com braucht zu lange, um eine Antwort zu senden.
Die aufgerufene Website hat auf den Verbindungsversuch zu lange nicht reagiert, daher wird nun nicht mehr länger auf eine Reaktion gewartet.
